It's officially the Fall! We've closed up our beach shack. I've said goodbye to my wild flock of turkeys that I've been watching grow all summer... it's been a good one.
And with the end of Summer continues the burst of creativity from my fingers! I've got lots of knitting schemes and plans in the works, and rocks that are dying to become beautiful trinkets to hang from elegant necklaces.
I've finished 3 baby hats this weekend. A modification on the baby hats I've been making. Newborn-size. I've added a star on one and a heart on another. The last I think I'll start setting up monograms on. For the shop, I'd like to sell monogrammed newborn hats for folks to bring to the hospital as a "Going Home" hat. I've gotta get some samples ready to photograph - which is on the schedule for this weekend. No holiday for me! I'll be photographing some beaded jewelry to ready for market as well as setting up the styrofoam hat modelers in a cute "baby" setting. Phew! I'm already tired! :)
See my photos as I upload them to Flickr at:

I've separated them into sets on Knitted Items, Beaded Jewelry, and Rocks. Let me know if you have trouble finding me there!
I attended a local state fair as well. Scoping out the competition! It was great to see all of the animals, the champion great pumpkin (as I sit here wearing my Peanuts Halloween shirt!)... I love to see all of the quilts, blankets and other crafty items that the different groups submit for judging. It's amazing how many talented folks there are out there! I can only hope to get there someday.
Because I need to share in my additional excitement about the upcoming HP7 movies, I'll attach my favorite pumpkin from this weekend's judging. Why it didn't take first I'll never know.
Have a great Fall!
