A friend bought her newborn daughter a Wonder Woman tee-shirt back before she was born, I think. She mentioned it and I've had this idea brewing in the back of my head since.
I've wanted to figure out how to crochet or knit a crown.... to, if successful, be given to the tiny girl.
So I've been working out a plan for a blue hat base, with a crown overlay so to speak. The idea being that a cute blue baby hat is underneath for when the crown is not needed.
Let's be honest, us princesses don't wear our crowns EVERYDAY. (The paps get sooo bad sometimes!) ;)
So, if I get this right, the crown will tie in on 2 places and can be removed very easily.
- Second project. I'm also working on 2 new beach rock pendants in my metalsmithing class. I've found 2 gorgeous, ovaly round rocks. One in white and one in - well, let's just call it "grey-blue-sparkly-with a yellowy-white diagonal line through it". It's really neat. My plan is to have them ready for the holiday fair in the big city. Here's to hoping I get them done in time!
Now off to the North to visit relatives and wonder at the beautiful fall colors! I've plenty of knitting and crocheting to catch up on. *Phew!*
